Every time you decide you need a cigarette - just spit the old one out, and start chewing a new one.
And make sure they're extra minty. It helps.
Also - "smoking" an unlit cancer stick also helps get over the first month and a half - the really critical period.

And that's not just a load of bullshit I'm telling you, that I read somewhere - I had to stop smoking for three months a few years back, because of a bet. That's what pulled me through. :D

Plus - my chewing gum was a "whitening" one, and I got a picture-perfect smile back then. :D :D :D

I've been conversing with people on line for... what... 10 years now?
And to tell you the truth, back then we didn't have rules or anything to tell us how to write actiont ext.
And, since we were chatting first amongst our schoolmates, and after that, with getting to know English better, with everyone else - it didn't matter to me, that a friend used the "*" and another just used the "&" and some others used other markings...
Afterwords, when I started going to more chat rooms, societies, forums, whatever... I still didn't much care. I saw then, that most people used the "*", but still - I was used to another symbol.
And, frankly, I've met other people, who also use the "::".
So... I wouldn't say I use the "wrong" symbol.
